Andrea Bainbridge
The Boss
It takes audacity to start a business from scratch. It also takes brains, judgment, humility and the ability to laugh along the way. Andrea attracts talented designers who thrive in an atmosphere of hard work, irreverence and fun. After more than 25 years in business, she knows how to b.s. and finesse often at the same time. No bull.
Andrea earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Interior Design at Colorado State University. She founded Bainbridge Design in 1983 and has yet to reach her peak (she claims).
Danièle Colonna
Senior Associate and Project Manager
Yes, Danièle is sweet, cultured and sincere. But she is also tough, bold and has sharp elbows. In short, she uses her wiles and wisdom to achieve breakthrough solutions even if it means breaking down some walls. As one client has said, "She can kick butt as well as anybody."
Danièle is a graduate of the University of the Arts in Philadelphia. She is NCIDQ certified and has over 25 years of distinguished, award winning design experience.
Rachel Schubert
Senior Designer/Project Manager
It’s easy to see why clients like Rachel. She is a friendly, insightful, easy-going problem solver (and with three young kids, it’s a good thing). She never drops the ball, never misses a detail and never loses sight of the big picture. She’s also an excellent time manager, meaning the dog gets a good walk every day. Lucky dog. Lucky us.
Rachel graduated from the University of Oregon in Interior Architecture. She's a gifted designer with a passion for space planning projects the larger the better.
Sermin Yesilada
Senior Designer, IIDA, LEED-AP BD+C
Sermin is no shrinking violet. She is smart, bold, dedicated and humble – an effective combination. She is insanely passionate about conceptual/schematic design and constantly strives to surpass client expectations. Frankly, the only thing she can’t do is a cartwheel – which means her dream job choice is out (see quote to the right).
Sermin is an Honors College graduate of the University of Oregon's Interior Architecture program. She is LEED-AP BD+C and NCIDQ certified and is our expert in sustainable design.
Kelly Alley
Designer, LEED-AP ID+C
Besides being a skilled designer who has a fine eye and ear (good taste, good listener), Kelly has many other talents. She is always well organized and never forgets a detail in project meetings. She also snowboards, plays tennis and can ride a unicycle. Her "biggest" dream is to ride an elephant. We pray she does not run off and join the circus.
Kelly has a Bachelor of Art in Interior Design from Purdue University. Her experience includes design and space planning for higher education, commercial and retail projects. She is LEED-AP (and soon to be NCIDQ) certified.
Heidi Payne
Designer
Heidi’s passion is creative concept development – for large, complex projects and small intricately detailed ones. She is funny, confident and not afraid to think outside the box. She hates to shop, and oddly enough, hiccups about once an hour. She doesn’t scare easily, so that cure won’t work.
Heidi has a Bachelor of Arts in Interior Design (Magna Cum Laude) from Washington State University. She has experience in large, complex projects as well as small, highly detailed designs for corporate and commercial clients.
